DE LA BARCA CON AMOR

The recipe is old.
The welcome is warm.

The Zaragoza family brought the flavors of La Barca, Jalisco, to Chicago, opening their first restaurant in 2007. Today, that family tradition lives on in Uptown.

Young goat is steamed for five hours, coated in house-made red mole, then roasted for tender meat and crisp edges. Warm tortillas and fire-roasted molcajete salsa complete the ritual.
